Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Risk, Audit and Compliance professional to play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic objectives and ensuring compliance with regulatory and licensing frameworks.

In this critical position, you will lead the delivery of the Compliance & Audit Framework for General Insurance operations, working closely with business leaders to develop and execute comprehensive audit plans.

  • Developing and executing comprehensive audit plans
  • Building strong relationships with clients, external auditors, and internal teams
  • Interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, and contractual compliance requirements specific to the General Insurance sector
  • Investigating operational incidents and control failures and monitoring remedial actions
  • Working with the wider Risk Team to identify, assess, and provide advice on mitigations for divisional risks across the General Insurance business
  • Leading and coaching a team of risk, audit, and compliance professionals to ensure their growth and successful delivery of the General Insurance division's risk strategy

Key Responsibilities:

As a seasoned Risk, Audit and Compliance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Partnering with business leaders to develop and execute comprehensive audit plans
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, external auditors, and internal teams
  3. Interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, and contractual compliance requirements specific to the General Insurance sector
  4. Investigating operational incidents and control failures and monitoring the progress of remedial actions
  5. Working with the wider Risk Team to identify, assess, and provide advice on mitigations for divisional risks across the General Insurance business
  6. Leading, coaching and supporting a team of risk, audit, and compliance professionals to ensure their growth and successful delivery of the General Insurance division's risk strategy
