Part-Time Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a part-time Human Resource Lead to join our mission-driven team.
This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and involves delivering HR services and ensuring policy compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
- Providing HR support with sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Assisting in performance management and training development.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring HR policies for legal compliance.
- Maintaining HR records and preparing reports.
- Assisting with payroll processes.
You will need a relevant HR qualification (e.g., Certificate IV in Human Resources) and at least 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role. Valuable skills and background include:
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and enterprise agreements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and handling sensitive information.
- Proactive problem-solving and ability to work independently and in a team.
