About Production Supervisors Role

This role involves overseeing a team to ensure efficient, safe operation of products and minimisation of waste. You will coach and develop the team to deliver production targets in a timely manner.



Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team to achieve business objectives by implementing processes that support operational efficiency and productivity growth.
  • Foster an environment where employees take ownership of their work, ensuring they meet expectations and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to improve employee performance and address any issues promptly.
  • Manage team expectations and provide necessary resources to support task completion.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within product, process, and systems, promoting positive change and development.
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance productivity and adapt production plans as required.
  • E nsure adherence to strict food safety, legality, and quality requirements.
  • Promote a culture of change and encourage open-mindedness towards new ideas and approaches.


Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position, preferably in FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis, enabling effective problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proven track record of success.
