Bar and Duty Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar and Duty Manager to join our team at The Sporting Globe Bar and Grill.

The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently and effectively controlling all operations across the venue, including running the restaurant and bar. This will involve supporting the Venue and Assistant Venue Manager by opening and closing the venue, as well as overall management of the FOH operational facets of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in controlling all operations across the venue, including running the restaurant and bar.
  • Support the Venue and Assistant Venue Manager by opening and closing the venue.
  • Manage the FOH operational facets of the business.
  • Adhere to and audit OH&S and Food Hygiene procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to build sales and revenue while controlling costs.
  • Ensure superior service and quality to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Drive a positive working environment and lead by example as a senior restaurant leader.
  • Maintain current market knowledge and harness your ability to engage and execute promotional/marketing concepts to assist in business growth.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in hospitality management.
  • Experience working in both bar and restaurant environments.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for the industry and a strong sales culture.
  • Experience in the financial aspects of a business.
  • RSA certificate.
