**Clinical Director - Medical Imaging Services Job Opportunity**

The Tasmanian Health Service presents a unique opportunity for a specialist Radiologist to establish themselves as a Clinical Director of Radiology. The Clinical Director will provide effective and technically up-to-date clinical leadership to the medical imaging Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice in the transition from an outsourced radiology reporting service to an internal model.
  • Build a department that will mesh and grow with the medical imaging and clinical team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A high level of proficiency in general and interventional radiology is required.
  • Sub-specialty skills in cardiac imaging or MRI are highly regarded.
Benefits:
  • A salary range of $216,300 - $310,389 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging.
  • A fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or motor vehicle allowance of $28,786 per annum, pro rata.
  • A Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,974 per annum, pro rata.
Work Environment:

Launceston General Hospital (LGH) is a 300-bed regional teaching hospital situated in the North of Tasmania, with a strong focus on education and specialist care. The LGH sees approximately 70,000 patients annually and has modern and well-maintained equipment.
