Leadership Role: Regional Sonography Coordinator
This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing sonography team, delivering exceptional clinical care to the Launceston community.
The successful candidate will have proven leadership skills, ability to manage, coach, and motivate staff to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day running of the sonography department to ensure efficient service delivery and high clinical standards.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support sonographers, trainees, and students. Manage rostering, leave planning, and staffing needs.
- Strategic Development: Work closely with the North West Coordinator and Regional Manager to align service goals and drive innovation across North Tasmania.
- Patient-Centric Approach: Provide the highest level of patient care by performing routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards.

Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing high-quality sonography examinations, including mammography, Renal Artery and CVI, employing correct techniques to industry standards or above.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing.
