Job Opportunity for Clinical Director - Medical Imaging Services

The Department of Health in Tasmania is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist to fill the position of Clinical Director - Medical Imaging Services. This exciting opportunity provides a unique chance to lead a professional team of medical imaging professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

As Clinical Director, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and technical expertise to the LGH medical imaging department. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of medical imaging services.

The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience in general and interventional radiology, with sub-speciality skills in cardiac imaging or MRI being highly regarded. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Specialist registration in Radiology;
  • Postgraduate qualification in Medicine or a related field; and
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a clinical director or senior leadership role.
