Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Specialist
Job Summary:This is a key role in driving environmental excellence across the operational site.
- Maintain high standards of environmental performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead the implementation of environmental programs, systems, and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive site environmental objectives and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Manage environmental risks and ensure effective control measures.
- Deliver internal and external reporting on time.
- Monitor compliance and lead preventative and corrective actions.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field (Essential)
- 2 years of coal mining experience - preferably in Queensland (Essential)
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance, and best practice management systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing environmental incidents, reporting, and corrective action processes.
