Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Education Event Planner to join our team.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To plan and coordinate medical education events across Australia and New Zealand, including local workshops and inter-regional programs.
  2. Manage registrations, promotional materials, event websites, and reporting requirements.
  3. Act as the primary contact for venues, travel providers, catering services, AV equipment suppliers, and other vendors involved in the events.
  4. Handle participant travel bookings and ensure the smooth delivery of all on-site event activities.
  5. Prepare and manage event documentation to meet global compliance standards.
  6. Process and reconcile event-related expenses via systems such as Concur.

 

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in event coordination, preferably within the healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfort working with data and reporting.

 

Travel Expectations:

20% of work time will be spent supporting the planning and execution of events on-site as required.
