Project Manager for AOD Sector

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate a project aimed at enhancing recognition, inclusion, and support of families and carers within the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects in community, health, or AOD sectors and possess strong knowledge of evaluation methodologies. They should be able to develop and deliver high-quality practice reviews and workforce capacity building resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Practice Reviews: Design and implement effective practice reviews that address the needs of families and carers.
  • Maintain Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest evaluation methodologies and apply them to improve project outcomes.
  • Deliver Resources: Develop and deliver high-quality resources to build the capacity of the team and stakeholders.
  • Understand Client Needs: Demonstrate empathy and understanding of the issues experienced by people living with AOD dependency and their families and carers.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in project management, health, social sciences, social work, or a related field.
  • Project Management Experience: Have minimum 3 years' experience managing projects in community, health, or AOD sectors.
  • AOD Knowledge: Possess demonstrated understanding of AOD dependency and its impact on families and carers.
