**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to join our client's team in Brisbane. As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient service delivery and maintenance of high-quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Manage Workshop Operations**: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the workshop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- **Lead a Team**: Manage a team of technicians and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- **Develop Processes**: Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline workshop operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- **Expand Services**: Expand workshop services to include servicing and repairs for customer-owned bikes, as well as parts and accessory sales.
- **Collaborate with Management**: Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for expanding workshop operations throughout Australia.
- **Monitor Performance**: Monitor and analyze workshop performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- **Maintain a Safe Environment**: Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and safety standards.
- **Build Relationships**: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and industry partners to ensure timely delivery of parts and accessories.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in workshop management, preferably in the automotive or motorcycle industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of motorcycle and scooter servicing and repair techniques, including familiarity with a variety of makes and models.
- Understanding of inventory management principles and experience with inventory control systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
