We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to join our team in Gladstone. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the servicing, maintenance, and repair of our fleet of coal haulage trucks and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled technicians and mechanics to ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of our fleet
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure seamless integration with our logistics and supply chain operations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role, preferably in a heavy transport or mining environment
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
