Job Role:

Supporting Council's ICT systems through first-line technical support, effective problem-solving, and delivering best-in-class customer service is the key responsibility of this crucial role.

As an experienced ICT Service Desk Analyst, you will be working in a dynamic team to undertake higher technical duties and projects as required. You will thrive in a changing environment and are committed to excellence in service delivery across multiple sites.

The job includes working in vibrant locations such as Drummoyne, Five Dock, and local libraries within the municipality to meet the dynamic needs of our services. Occasionally, your role will include working evening shifts to support Council Meetings and critical upgrade events as part of our operational schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake higher technical duties and projects as required under the guidance of the ICT Security and Operations Manager.
  • Provide first-line technical support, effective problem-solving, and deliver best-in-class customer service.
  • Work in a dynamic team to meet the dynamic needs of our services.
  • Occasionally work evening shifts to support Council Meetings and critical upgrade events.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT combined or demonstrated experience working within a corporate, Service Desk environment.
  • A customer service-driven attitude and approach to resolving IT issues.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions.
  • Well-developed communication skills to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Willingsness to learn, grow, and develop your technical skills.
  • Maintain a current and valid Australian Driver's License.

Desirable Skills

  • Supporting and troubleshooting MS Windows devices.
  • Mobile device management.
  • Printer support and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft 365 (AD, Office, Teams, Intune).
  • Audio Visual equipment support and troubleshooting.
