Expert Audiologist Required

We are seeking an experienced and skilled audiologist to join our comprehensive hearing healthcare team in Ballina, New South Wales.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong audiological skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences through professional recommendations, clear rehabilitation programs, and effective communication.
  • They will conduct clinical assessments according to current best practices and the company's clinical protocols, communicating assessment results and subsequent recommendations effectively.
  • The successful candidate will meet clients' needs by providing appropriate and professional advice, services, and devices, as well as offer counselling and education on hearing loss management and communication strategies.
  • They will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients and participate in professional development and training to maintain current and diverse knowledge in their specialist areas of audiology.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years' experience in adult rehabilitation; diagnostic experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A relevant qualification in audiology.
  • Current membership with AudA or ACAud.
  • Strong audiological skills, including the ability to manage a high and varied caseload while demonstrating sound clinical judgment.
  • Excellent customer care and service skills, with a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • A commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and achieving the highest standards in audiological care.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedication to staying updated with industry advancements.
