We're seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Specialist to join our team at Telstra.
As a Field Service Technician, you will work independently to provide exceptional customer experiences by activating and assuring telecommunications products and services in the home and/or business.
You will be part of a diverse team environment, delivering optimal customer and commercial outcomes aligned with our corporate strategy.
This role requires residing in or relocating to the targeted area, which is Melbourne North.
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including an estimated annual salary of $83,000 - $110,000, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations to the full satisfaction of customers.
- Copper cable maintenance and installation, including fault finding, jointing, jumpering, and networking.
- Maintenance and management of Fibre network technology, Core network technology, and Data services.
- Customer Premises Equipment maintenance and installation (both consumer and business).
- Fault finding over copper networks in rural or remote settings.
- Certificate III in Telecommunications
- Open cabling license
- Traffic management qualifications
- An industry white card
Telstra can support you through offering training on Traffic management and white card certificates. This role requires being vaccinated against Covid-19 for safety and wellbeing purposes.
