Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Operations Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations and be able to provide exceptional support to our partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to APAC partners
  • Manage incidents, problems, and changes using the Global Support Model
  • Analyze the impact of change requests and implement approved changes
  • Coordinate with global support teams for changes and support required by business partners
  • Regularly monitor new issues/incidents raised by key business partners
  • Generate and analyze trending reports, recurring incidents, root-cause analyses, and opportunities for systemic improvements to service results and periodic SLA reports/scorecards
  • Own escalated issues, act as a resolution owner, and ensure issues are properly resolved
  • Evaluate unresolved issues and escalate them to other pre-identified support groups and vendors
  • Provide regular updates, analysis, and next steps as appropriate during outages
  • Offer deskside support and audio-visual support to partners
  • Perform capacity management and asset management
  • Asset deployment and responsible for daily and long-term strategic management of IT assets and other technology-related hardware within APAC
  • Plan, monitor, and record IT assets to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and vendor contracts
  • Project support/project management and migration activities testing
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of networks, database, or operating systems, PC/LAN/WAN, Citrix/VDI, telecommunications technologies, and information security technology
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good project management skills and interpersonal skills essential to successfully service clients and maintain good working relationships with partners
  • Experience with Office 365 (on-prem and cloud), Outlook, Lotus Notes, and SharePoint
Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000 depending on experience.

This role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and minimum 1-2 years' experience in operating systems, database, telecommunications, PC, LAN, WAN, and data security technologies.

A strong understanding of ITIL, Citrix, VDI/VM, Windows servers, MS O365, ITIL, MCSE, MCSA, and CCNA certification is desirable.

A working knowledge of Service Now System tool is also a plus.
