Job Title: Career Opportunities Liaison

Are you a passionate and skilled professional with a talent for matching clients to suitable career opportunities? We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Career Opportunities Liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and creating career opportunities that cater to the needs of diverse individuals, focusing on inclusive employment and workforce diversity.
  • Collaborating with employers to address skill shortages through innovative recruitment strategies and role carving.
  • Brokering work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Preparing workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitating employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Building strong networks with employers and community organizations to create job opportunities.
  • Promoting your organization's values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
  • Meeting or exceeding internal and external performance benchmarks.

About You:

  • Experience in employment services, preferably with a focus on disability employment initiatives.
  • Ability to navigate complex systems and processes, ensuring seamless client support.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disabilities.
  • Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans.
  • A current driver's license is essential for this role.

The successful applicant will undergo pre-employment checks, including a criminal record check, working with children check, NDIS Worker Screen Clearance, and referee checks.
