Job Title:

  • Site Operations Manager

Overview

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in site supervision and management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of allocated projects, including the installation of shopfronts, joinery, and build works throughout fitout.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day running of allocated projects; including installation of shopfronts, joinery, build works throughout fitout.

  • General supervision of all Trades, Sub-Trades and personnel;

  • Ensure that staff have an understanding of site project expectations;

  • Recognise and communicate project issues as they are discovered;

  • Document or draw up work instructions for workshop, as required;

  • Provide feedback to staff regarding work performance / areas for further training;

  • Procure minor materials, if required;

  • Co-ordination of site deliveries;

  • Enforce company standards and ensure any defects are rectified;

  • Manage workload effectively;

  • Communicate with client, office and other staff in an effective and timely manner.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in site supervision/management preferable but not essential;

  • Exposure to working with and constructing shopfront Bulkheads and Entries

  • Professional and proactive outlook with a great work ethic;

  • Ability and willingness to travel and live away for projects, as required;

  • Strong understanding of WH&S;

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines;

  • Attention to accuracy and detail;

  • Strong planning and organisational abilities;

  • Ability to lead and work alongside others;

  • Ability to problem solve and deliver results;

  • Professional and proactive outlook with a great work ethic;

Qualifications

  • Trade Qualifications in Cabinetmaking / Joinery / Carpentry / Shopfitting;

  • Current Driver's License;

  • OH&S White Card;

  • Current First Aid and CPR.

  • EWP and Scissor Ticket Preferable but not essential
