This is a mid-senior level full-time position responsible for leading the project delivery team and driving operational excellence in commercial fitouts.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial project delivery processes, leadership skills and the ability to build a high-performance culture.

About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced operations leader to drive our shopfitting projects forward.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence and quality benchmarks are consistently met.

This role requires excellent communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

A hands-on leader with a calm and confident presence will thrive in this environment.

The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple shopfitting projects, reviewing and refining operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Additionally, the candidate will need to manage operational budgets, tracking costs and ensuring project profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the project delivery team and office manager.
  • Build a high-performance culture that is aligned with company values.
  • Mentor, coach and support professional development across the team.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple shopfitting projects.
  • Ensure project timelines, budgets and quality benchmarks are consistently met.
  • Review and refine operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Manage operational budgets, tracking costs and ensuring project profitability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in an operations or senior project management role (preferably in construction/shopfitting).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven ability to build culture and drive accountability.
  • Strong understanding of commercial project delivery processes.
