About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workforce Planning Officer to join our team at the Australian Turf Club. As a key member of our workforce planning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our workforce across our four primary venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage rosters for race days and events, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing overtime.
  • Coordinate team member check-in on race days, ensuring all team members are accounted for and ready to work.
  • Manage time and attendance data, ensuring accurate and timely processing for payroll purposes.
  • Develop and present reports on workforce planning and management metrics, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Liaise with commercial partners to ensure partnership agreements and service levels are met.
  • Maintain accurate team member records and information in relevant systems.
  • Be the point of contact for the casual team, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain workforce database integrity, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in workforce planning, rostering, and time and attendance management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays as required.
