About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Transport Officer to join our Integrated Transport team at Randwick City Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing sustainable transport policies and strategies that promote a healthy and environmentally friendly community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review policies, strategies, and research related to sustainable transport, ensuring alignment with Council's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address sustainable transport issues, ensuring efficient and effective solutions that meet Council's policies and legislative requirements.
  • Engage consultants to undertake evaluation, concept design, and detailed construction design of externally funded sustainable transport projects.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Town/Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Knowledge and experience in using relevant Transport for NSW manuals and guidelines, Austroads guidelines, and Australian Standards.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality transport projects that incorporate quality urban design and sustainability principles.
