About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Officer to join our team at the Australian Turf Club. As a key member of our workforce planning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our workforce across our four primary venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage rosters for race days and events, ensuring optimal staffing levels and minimizing overtime.
  • Coordinate and deliver team member check-in on race days, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Manage time and attendance data, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Develop and present reports to stakeholders, providing insights into workforce planning and management.
  • Liaise with commercial partners to ensure partnership agreements and service levels are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of team members and workforce data, ensuring integrity and compliance.
  • Be the point of contact for the casual team, providing support and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in workforce planning, rostering, and time and attendance management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with rostering platforms, preferably Humanforce, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays as required.
