We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of engineering education and research at UniSC.

Selection Criteria
  • A doctoral qualification (or equivalent standing) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field;
  • Experience teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, with a preference for expertise in areas such as advanced system design, energy or electromechanical systems;
  • A passion for creating engaging learning experiences, contributing to course design and assessment, and supporting student success across both face-to-face and online modes;
  • An emerging research profile, with potential to contribute to energy, advanced manufacturing or materials engineering through publications, collaborative projects, or research supervision;
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive academic culture where students and staff are supported to achieve their best;
  • Experience contributing to academic governance, program coordination or other collaborative university initiatives;
  • Professional memberships or connections that support student outcomes and strengthen links with industry or the community;
  • A willingness to keep learning and growing your practice as a teacher, researcher and academic leader.
