  • Research: Develop your research profile through projects, publications, grants, and supervision, addressing global challenges and contributing to our discipline's growth.
  • Industry Engagement: Build partnerships with industry leaders, fostering opportunities for students, researchers, and academics to collaborate on impactful projects and drive real-world impact.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A doctoral qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
  • Experience teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with expertise in areas like advanced system design, energy, or electromechanical systems;
  • A passion for engaging teaching, course design, and supporting student success in face-to-face and online modes;
  • An emerging research profile with potential contributions to energy, manufacturing, or materials engineering;
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive academic culture;
  • Experience in academic governance and program coordination;
  • Professional memberships or industry links supporting student outcomes;
  • A willingness to continue learning and developing as an academic leader.

As a Senior Lecturer (Level C), you will also:
