Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering Opportunity

This is a unique chance to shape the future of civil engineering at UniSC.

As a Senior Lecturer, you will play a key role in teaching across our undergraduate programs and contribute to the development and delivery of our new Master of Engineering.

Key Objectives:

Requirements:

  • A doctoral qualification (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related field;
  • Experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, preferably in stormwater, hydrology, and hydraulics, with skills in course design, assessment, and collaborative program coordination;
  • The potential to establish a strong research profile through publications, grant applications, research supervision, and meaningful impact;
  • Personal qualities that foster a positive, inclusive academic environment supportive of staff and student success;
  • Experience contributing to academic administration and program coordination;
  • Active membership or strong connections with professional bodies and community groups relevant to your discipline;
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to grow as an academic;
  • The ability to develop and lead partnerships regionally, nationally, and internationally that benefit students, the community, and the University.
