Senior Finance Leader Opportunity

Are you a seasoned finance professional looking for a new challenge? Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team in Sydney. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our senior leadership team to drive financial performance and strategy across the organisation.


Job Description:

  • Manage daily bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cashflow reports.
  • Oversee bookkeeping activities with an external bookkeeping firm using Xero and Shopify integrations.
  • Review weekly payroll and superannuation obligations with an external accounting firm.
  • Partner directly with the CFO/COO to deliver robust budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities.
  • Provide strategic insights to support commercial decisions, growth initiatives, and operational improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience in accounting or finance in a fast-growing or established company.
  • CA or CPA qualified, with experience in Big 4 preferred.
  • Experience in multi-jurisdiction accounting and tax environments highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting, financial analysis, planning, and strategy, preferably in retail, FMCG, consumer goods, or ecommerce.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero, Shopify and cloud-based finance tools.
