Job Overview

The Assistant Director Finance is a key role that works closely with the Finance Lead and Program Support Director to lead and manage the Finance Team. The team provides financial management services for the Indigo Program and the broader Enterprise Transformation Group (ETG).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to operational functions and resource allocation of the Finance Team.
  • Ensure all budget and financial management reporting activities are delivered to a high professional standard.
  • Analyse and synthesise information from internal and external sources to provide strategic advice to the Director and ETG Senior Executive.
RequirementsKey Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing high volumes of work and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare complex correspondence, briefings, papers, reports, and other written artefacts.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and harmoniously within a team.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Tertiary education suitable to the role.
  • CPA and/or CA full membership.
