Overview of Role and Responsibilities:
- We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead our Child and Adolescent Mental Health team. This individual will oversee the delivery of innovative care, manage high-performing teams, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- The selected candidate will lead a team of professionals within CAMHS, focusing on collaboration with consumers in care planning.
- They will provide guidance and strategic management of staff, resources, and services, emphasizing building team capability and continuous improvement.
- This role requires effective interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement at all organisational levels.
- The Clinical Manager will initiate, lead, complete, and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluations, applying evidence-based practice in mental health.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning, with qualifications such as Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Senior Psychologist.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in managing healthcare services, particularly in complex child and adolescent community mental health settings.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to build team capability, and excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills are required.
- Experience initiating and leading quality improvement initiatives, with a focus on evidence-based practice in mental health, is essential.
