At the forefront of global payroll management, we are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our international payroll operations. As the Global Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of our international payroll function, ensuring employees across multiple jurisdictions are compensated accurately and on time while maintaining strict compliance with local, national, and international regulations.

Job Description:

You will act as a key partner to Finance, HR, and Operations, leveraging your deep expertise in payroll systems, compliance, and process optimisation to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. Your ability to manage and adapt to change will be crucial in shaping best practices across our global payroll function.

  • Oversee and approve monthly, fortnightly, and ad-hoc pay runs, ensuring all payrolls are processed accurately and on schedule.
  • Own monthly payroll reporting, journal preparation, and payroll balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Lead the onshore Melbourne-based payroll compliance team and provide oversight to payroll operations conducted by our team in Manila.
  • Drive strategic and change management initiatives to continually improve and enhance payroll processes.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Payroll Manager, ideally within large, complex organisations operating across multiple geographies.
  • Familiarity with Workday, ADP GlobalView, and/or Ramco Payce Global Payroll is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage and adapt to change.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including the coaching and mentorship of both onshore and offshore teams.
