Home Support Services Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide vital home support services to our valued veteran clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment
  • Supporting clients with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration needs
  • Helping clients maintain their personal appearance and independence
  • Offering emotional support and companionship to promote client wellbeing
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks including bed making, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Observing and reporting any changes in clients' health or behavior
  • Engaging clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional wellbeing

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent qualification
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
  • A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one for working with vulnerable populations
  • Must have work rights in Australia and be eligible for employment
  • A genuine passion for helping others and delivering high-quality care services
