Job Overview

As a dedicated Home Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing personalized support and assistance to clients in their own homes.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored support to enable them to live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including showering, grooming, dressing and medication management.
  • Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning and household chores.
  • Provide social support and transport clients to appointments, shopping or community outings.
  • Observe and report changes in clients' health and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication.
  • HLTAAP001 – Recognise Healthy Body Systems.
  • CHCCCS031 – Provide Individualised Support.
  • A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
