Home Care Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Care Worker. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance to clients in their own homes.

About the Role

As a Home Care Worker, you will:

  • Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including showering, grooming, dressing, and medication management
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and household chores
  • Offer social support and transport clients to appointments, shopping, or community outings
  • Observe and report changes in clients' health and wellbeing

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent with 12 months experience
  • Completion of HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication and HLTAAP001 – Recognise Healthy Body Systems
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
