Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Banking Manager to lead our Premier Relationships division. This is an exceptional opportunity for a high-performing professional to influence the future of this division.

  • Use superior relationship and coaching skills to achieve business goals through the leadership of people and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent and professional leadership and deliver exceptional customer service by demonstrating actions and behaviours consistent with corporate principles and compliance standards.
  • Accountable for the effective deployment of resources within their appointed area including career/succession planning, staff leave management & recruitment/selection activities.
Key Responsibilities:

- Identify opportunities for growth and implement action plans to ensure the overall growth of the business
- Influence a team to work at the peak of their performance standards, bringing in prospects, sales and referrals and to create a superior customer experience
- Actively represent the company with accountability for enhancing NAB profile and reputation within target markets and the community
- Manage operational & legislative risk effectively and have a genuine focus on continuous improvement and executional excellence

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

- Organisational / implementation abilities; Time management / priority setting; Self-motivation
- Managerial skills # high problem-solving capacity; negotiation skills; results oriented
- Sound knowledge and skills in Banking regulations, practices and procedures; credit assessment and associated issues; full range of Bank products; Company / commercial law; Accounting principles and practices
- Broad based business exposure
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of achieving results through people

Desirable Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in a business related discipline preferred
- Relevant compliance and sales/service leadership training including lending accreditation
