Job Title: Health And Safety Advisor

Job Description

As a vital member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in devising and implementing a comprehensive safety management system across multiple sites, offices, and remote locations.

About the Role

  • Manage a team to ensure high-integrity safety practices are delivered across diverse risk portfolios, including working at heights, mobile plant, confined spaces, hazardous materials, demolition, traffic management, and electrical works.
  • Oversee a large volume of sites across Queensland, working closely with Site Managers and Supervisors to apply correct health and safety measures and achieve best practice.
  • Conduct regular HS&E compliance checks, provide monthly reports and statistics, develop and issue safety alerts, manage site inductions, workplace health and safety training and licensing, facilitate and coach subcontractors, conduct pre-starts, toolboxes, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
  • Review SWMS, conduct site inspections and audits, report safety breaches, and issue non-compliance if required.

About You

  • A passionate health and safety professional with a relevant qualification in WHS, seeking to drive best practice and oversee continual improvement of processes for the people.
  • Previous experience in injury management/RTW, first aid or CPR training highly regarded, work at heights training preferable, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
