Facilities Operations Manager

This role presents a unique opportunity to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of facilities owned by the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion of planned and ad-hoc tasks;
- Manage and supervise maintenance staff, monitoring their work and standard of delivery;
- Coordinate and assign work orders, tracking job completion and progress;
- Perform hands-on maintenance work when required;
- Respond to after-hours calls, addressing works or coordinating with on-call staff or contractors as necessary;
- Develop and distribute on-call rosters to maintenance staff;
- Manage contractor relationships for planned and ad-hoc maintenance and repairs;
- Collaborate with other departments to arrange repairs and maintenance;
- Administer computer-based programs for building services;
- Organize testing and repairs for annual fire safety statements;
- Conduct monthly tool checks.
**Requirements:**
- Three years' experience in a similar facilities management position;
- Experience in managing Building Management Systems;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Relevant experience in maintenance or general hand roles;
- Demonstrated understanding of manual handling procedures;
- Good grooming and presentation standards.
