Job Title

The Area Director is responsible for leading and managing service delivery and reform implementation across the area, located within the North Division of the Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement departmental priorities for direct services within the area, including child protection, housing, and community engagement programs.
  • Lead the integration of multidisciplinary service delivery within the area, focusing on providing holistic client outcomes within evolving frameworks of reform.
  • Work in partnership with key stakeholders to achieve intended client outcomes for the department.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a deep understanding of the department's goals and objectives.

Requirements
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in senior management roles
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
