About the Role

Ambitious professionals in category management or sales leadership are invited to join us as Category Development Leaders for Pharmacy. This strategic role focuses on driving growth and innovation across the pharmacy channel, particularly with major retailers.

Reporting directly to the Director of Category & Brand Experience, you will lead a team of direct reports in developing and executing the pharmacy channel strategy for Blackmores and BioCeuticals products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Category Leadership: Develop and execute long-term category strategies aligned with business goals and customer priorities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive alignment and shared success.
  • Change & Transformation Leadership: Lead change initiatives across the channel, introducing new ways of working, process improvements, and capability development.
  • Customer Engagement & Thought Leadership: Represent our company as a category expert, influencing customer strategies and contributing to the health and wellness agenda.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of category managers and assistant category managers.
  • Commercial & Promotional Strategy: Own the commercial performance of the pharmacy channel, including promotional planning, pricing strategy, and performance tracking.

Key deliverables within the channel include unit, sales, and share growth, winning range reviews, promotional effectiveness, and objective category partnerships. To be successful in this role, you will possess a bachelor's degree in business, economics, commerce, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 10 years of senior experience in category management or customer/channel leadership.
