We're looking for x2 Category Analyst's to join Ventia's Group Supply Chain team based in North Sydney.In this critical role, you'll deliver high-quality category analysis, actionable data insights, and support end-to-end tender administration (Source to Contract).

Here's what you can expect:Flexible Work Arrangements – Enjoy a hybrid model with both in-office and work-from-home options.Job Security – Permanent full-time role within a high-performing team.Career Growth – Access mentoring, training programs, and exciting internal career opportunities.Employee Benefits – Get more from your role with: Discounted private health insurance, Paid parental leave, Lifestyle and travel discounts, Wellbeing and support programsWhat You'll DoCategory Analysis & InsightsPerform detailed spend analysis, market research, and supplier performance reviews.Deliver reports and insights to enhance category strategies and sourcing decisions.Uncover opportunities to drive cost savings and supplier consolidation.Data & AnalyticsUse tools like Excel, Power BI, Coupa, and SAP Ariba to extract and analyse procurement data.Provide meaningful insights for supplier segmentation and risk mitigation.Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.Tender Administration (Source to Contract)Support RFI/RFP development, evaluation, and contract award processes.Manage documentation, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.Ensure adherence to procurement policies and governance.Supplier Risk & Value ManagementSupport supplier risk assessments and continuous performance monitoring.Contribute to developing supplier scorecards and improvement initiatives.Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementPartner with Senior Category Managers, Legal, Finance, and project teams.Support cross-functional procurement initiatives and transformation projects.Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.EssentialWhat We're Looking ForTertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related fieldSolid experience in procurement, category management, or data analyticsStrong analytical skills and Excel/Power BI proficiencyStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExcellent time management and project coordination experienceExperience with sourcing events and contract administrationFamiliarity with procurement systems (Coupa, SAP Ariba)DesirableExperience in infrastructure, utilities, or services industriesUnderstanding of ESG and supplier risk frameworksKnowledge of strategic sourcing and category management methodologiesDiversityVentia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
