Oncology Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

You will be responsible for providing evidence-based nursing care, liaising with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring patient and staff safety.

In addition, you will supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care, and provide education and support to individuals/patients for health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

About the Role
  • Job Summary: Provide high-quality patient care as part of a dynamic oncology team
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver evidence-based nursing care
    • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
    • Ensure patient and staff safety
    • Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members
    • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Requirements:
    • Current registration with AHPRA
    • Working with Children check
    • Minimum 2 years recent Oncology Nursing Experience
    • Competent in Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration
    • IV Cannulation and Accessing CVAD/Ports
    • ADAC trained and certified
    • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
    • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
    • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Works well independently and within a team
    • Basic computer skills
