Site Utility Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the upkeep of site utilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation.

  1. Job Description

    The Site Utility Manager will be responsible for managing and reducing site utility expenses, energy supply risks, and supporting business growth through strategic technology enhancements and new product implementation. This role will also involve assisting in the management of site Utilities & Services and Environmental reliability and facilities contracts working in conjunction with stakeholders.

  2. Required Skills and Qualifications
    • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline (bachelor's degree, Diploma or Trade Cert 3).
    • Experience with refrigeration, water treatment, boilers operating systems and maintenance would be an advantage.
    • Ability to work un-supervised or within a cross functional team.
    • Knowledge of business operations including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Experience in continuous improvement using Lean or Six Sigma.
  3. Key Responsibilities
    1. Support in the routine preventive maintenance as per schedule of all utilities and services equipment.
    2. Uninterrupted operation of all utilities to site including boiler, refrigeration air conditioning, air compressors and power supplies.
    3. Investigation and reduction of energy, water consumption and waste generation through the facility.
    4. Management of building maintenance and budgeted repairs.
    5. Identification of opportunities to improve safety, quality, sustainability, and cost relative to current benchmarks.
    6. Development of business cases for improvement projects.
