About this role

This is a dynamic position in the Utilities and Sustainability team. Key responsibilities will include consolidating and quality assuring utilities data for Queensland state schools, developing effective working relationships with internal and external customers, providing advice and support on utilities management, and undertaking administrative tasks related to utilities appropriation payments.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and be able to multitask effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems is also desirable.

This role may require collaboration across various teams within Facilities Management Services. In accordance with relevant legislation, applicants must hold a current Working with Children Check clearance.

Successful applicants will be expected to:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive utilities data records
  • Provide high-quality advice and support on utilities management best practices
  • Foster effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform administrative tasks associated with utilities appropriation payments
