Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Public Sector Project Coordinator to join our team at Whizdom Recruitment.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in managing multiple projects and coordinating with stakeholders across various business units.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for scoping and managing a range of projects, including Relocations, Redevelopment sites, Modifications, and LGC. They will also be required to perform day-to-day project management tasks, such as work-in-progress inspections, performance measurement against established standards, and contractor engagement.

A key aspect of this role is proactively monitoring potential risks associated with large-scale vacant redevelopment sites and implementing mitigation techniques where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scoping and managing multiple projects, including Relocations, Redevelopment sites, Modifications, and LGC
  • Ongoing communication and collaboration with stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Day-to-day project management, including work-in-progress inspections and performance measurement against established standards
  • Proactive risk management for large-scale vacant redevelopment sites
  • Contract administration, including preparation of scopes and interpretation of contract requirements, standards, and policies
What's on Offer?

This is a fixed-term contract available for an initial 6-month term, with extension options. The role can be performed from the Sydney CBD, with a work-from-home option available after 2 months.
