We are seeking an experienced Public Affairs and Communications professional to join our team at Montu in Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and execute public affairs strategies, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and enhance Montu's reputation.

### Job Overview

The Public Affairs and Communications Lead plays a critical role in:

  • Supporting Montu's reputation through effective public affairs and communications strategies.
  • Fostering collaborative relationships with media partners, government agencies, and other key industry stakeholders.

This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, extensive experience in public affairs, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

### Key Responsibilities

Public Affairs - Relationship and Partnership Development

- Develop and implement the public affairs strategy for Montu's corporate brand and its brand portfolio, focusing on building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

- Build, strengthen and maintain collaborative relationships with media partners, working in alignment with internal teams such as PR and Corporate Affairs colleagues.

- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships that align with shared goals, such as media, government, policy advocacy.

Strategic Communications

- Create and implement public affairs strategies to position Montu as a trusted partner within the healthcare space, enhancing our reputation amongst key stakeholder groups.

- Develop multi-channel communication strategies to support Montu's share of voice with key stakeholder groups.

- Develop messaging and content for press releases, speeches, and public statements, ensuring consistency across all channels.

### Requirements

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field preferred

- Proven experience in Public Affairs and Corporate Communications, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.

- Strong experience in Media Relations and an extensive media network, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and stakeholders, negotiating effectively and influencing positively.

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum
