Procurement Specialist Position

Seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to drive procurement and contracting activities, supporting business objectives and driving value through supplier relationships, cost optimization, and effective contract management.

  • Develop and execute contracts up to a high value, including negotiation, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead and support procurement and contracting strategies across a diverse portfolio, gathering and analysing data, market intelligence, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Drive competitive sourcing activities such as tenders, eAuctions, and other commercial tools, building and maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure supplier performance meets agreed outcomes, resolving disputes, and implementing corrective actions when required.
Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management or Finance is required. 3-5 years' experience in procurement or commercial roles, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment, is also essential.

  • Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies and negotiate commercial contracts.
  • Strong relationship management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under pressure.
