Procurement Specialist: Unlocking Value in Supply Chain

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to lead and support procurement activities that drive business outcomes across spend reduction, productivity, working capital, and contract management.

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing and contracting efforts, including tenders, eAuctions, and commercial negotiations for contracts.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored procurement solutions.
  • Analyse market intelligence and supplier capabilities to inform decisions and mitigate commercial risk.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance outcomes, resolve disputes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion local sourcing opportunities and strengthen community supplier engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies while protecting commercial interests.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams to align procurement with business goals.
  • Support global initiatives by promoting and integrating procurement programs.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • Background in a procurement role, with experience in developing procurement strategies and negotiating complex contract terms and conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, influencing capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
