About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Customer Experience Transformation Plan. This is a pivotal role that will oversee a major, cross-organisational project designed to elevate the customer experience across the City of Parramatta.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide leadership and direction for the Customer Experience Transformation Plan, setting clear objectives and aligning internal stakeholders towards achieving successful outcomes.
  • Workstream Alignment: Oversee the alignment of various workstreams and develop new workflows, metrics, and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Project Delivery Frameworks: Developing comprehensive frameworks for project delivery will be essential, including governance structures, risk management strategies, and performance indicators.
  • Change Management: Ensuring effective change management processes to improve understanding of customer needs and enhance overall customer experience will be a key part of your role.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned with project concepts and strategies.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Promoting innovation and continuous improvement in practices, technology, and procedures to better serve our customers will be crucial.
About You

We are seeking an accomplished leader with:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in project management, communication, engagement, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of post-graduate experience in project management within a multi-disciplinary environment, including at least 5 years in customer experience or customer insights, preferably in a government or services environment.
  • Project Management Skills: Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and budgets.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Advanced communication and presentation skills, essential for engaging with diverse stakeholders and driving project success.
  • Relationship and Customer Management Skills: Strong relationship and customer management abilities, with demonstrated expertise in influence and negotiation.
  • Leadership Skills: Advanced leadership skills, with a focus on accountability, deadline management, and inspiring teams.
