Trucell is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Field and Support Desk Technician.
About the Position- As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our Business Development Manager based in Western Australia.
- You will also be required to attend to jobs locally, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients.
- In addition, you will collaborate with our technical team, providing and receiving support for various tasks and requests.
- A minimum of one year of experience in IT is mandatory.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar are highly desirable.
Key Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in configuring, installing, monitoring, supporting, and managing ICT environments.
- Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualisation technologies.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to provide Tier 1/2 technical support.
- Capacity to triage and escalate incidents according to policies and procedures.
Operational Abilities:
- Ability to follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures to ensure high-quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Providing operational support (on-site and remote) to client sites as required.
- Delivering training in the desktop environment and applications to end users where necessary.
- Maintaining ICT documentation, including knowledgebase articles and work instructions.
- Prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing workflows to ensure tasks are completed in a client-focused manner within defined service levels.
- Conducting thorough investigation and diagnosis of incidents, providing timely remedial action to ensure agreed service levels are maintained.
- Updating, maintaining, and working within procedures for the maintenance of one or more technical domains.
