Job Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to provide support in our compliance and inspection programs. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to develop high-level skills in compliance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and inspections, interacting with stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence for stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Contribute to business outcomes through research and participation in audit taskforces.
  • Stay up-to-date with established procedures and policy, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify non-compliance matters and gather information for escalation or referral.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of investigations, evidence gathering, and review processes.
  • Current driver's licence and ability to travel throughout the state.
What We're Looking For
  • Technical competence in relevant legislation.
  • Experience in undertaking desktop and field-based compliance audits.
  • Negotiation skills with stakeholders.
