About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as a Disability Employment Consultant. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in supporting individuals with disabilities to find employment and achieve their goals.

As a Disability Employment Consultant, you will work closely with clients, employers, and stakeholders to deliver tailored employment solutions. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and securing job opportunities, providing support to help clients become job-ready, and delivering high-quality services while adhering to contractual requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure employment opportunities for clients with local employers
  • Support clients to identify skills and become job-ready
  • Deliver quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements
  • Enhance clients' employability through training and support referrals
  • Develop personalized job plans for clear employment pathways
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups

Your Ideal Background:

  • A strong background in sales, retail, call centres, hospitality, consulting, business development, or administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A can-do attitude, empathy, and compassion towards individuals with disabilities

Essential Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Availability to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
