Rehabilitation Consultant Opportunity

Are you passionate about helping people regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work? We are seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals as a Rehabilitation Consultant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to make a real difference in people's lives and provide excellent customer care. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers.
  • Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
  • Driver's license and access to own vehicle.
